Activities Profile and Scope

Since 2004 I have been advising companies in their marketing communication in all areas of application of directive and operational activities. These range from classic print and online communication to the conception of exhibition concepts. The development of press releases and the processing of advertising material is also part of the responsibilities.

Over the past 20 years, I have worked with numerous organizations in various industries. Since the last years, the focus has been on B2B marketing communication as the industry’s interest in addressing and explaining its technical innovations to specific target groups and mindsets is growing. 

As a lecturer in the academic education, I started in 2001 at the Faculty of Design of the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and received my first professorship in 2004 at the Faculty of Design of the University of Applied Sciences Dresden. Since 2013 I have been lecturing in the BA and MA programmes Business Engineering Innovation at the University of Applied Sciences Lucerne, among others, the expertise “Marketing Communication” and “Service Innovation”.

Experience and Degrees

Before I became a self-employed consultant, I worked in Germany, the USA, and Canada for agencies such as frog design, Gottschalk+Ash (entro) and Claus Koch Corporate Communications. At intervals, I achieved various degrees, such as a vocational training as Display Designer, various academic degrees in Integrated Design, Management & Intl. Further Areas of Activity

Besides the described fields of activity in consulting and teaching, I support organizations in various activities. In 2017 I was elected as an external expert to a working group of the German Council of Science and Humanities.

On given occasions, I am commissioned as a lecturer for university didactics in design for the Centre for University Didactics (DiZ) in Ingolstadt and enjoy being a visiting professor at Hochschule Anhalt, Dessau at the International Master of Integrated Design

Since 2016 I have been conducting annual interdisciplinary design workshops at the Södertörns högskola in Stockholm, Sweden as part of the university exchange programme.

As a coach, I advise start-ups in their communication strategy and particularly in the development of service solutions, as a member of the advisory board of Next Insights.
