Cross-disciplinary Research
There is a debate about the contradictions between scientifically based methods and methods in design. One conclusion is that design research is not comparable with a classical ideal of research practice in disciplinary networked epistemology. However, the growing number of cross-disciplinary methods shows a growing discourse on terminology and understanding of other subject areas. Enlightenment and humanism have paved the way for what we find today in the increasingly broad world of research – human-centred design, business oriented process support, intersecting disciplines and new areas for moderation and coaching.
Below, some examples of research related design projects as well as academic papers and other contributions. For more details in the academic field, please also visit my contributions on Research Gate.
